What it is
BinRound is a proven software service designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs in waste management. It provides vehicle / fleet-planning management teams with a powerful system to streamline the planning of routes, bin rounds or legs.
Using the latest silverlight mapping technology, back office teams can easily plan and draw out bin routes using its fast drag & draw functionality. Geofencing allows the software users to draw virtual parameters around locations and generate automated alerts when vehicles enter and leave - i.e. entry and leave times for waste depot sites.
With real-time GPS vehicle tracking, you can pinpoint exactly which fleet vehicle is nearest to a specific location via postcode, street name, keyword or Geofence.
Once the jobs are created and split into legs, BinRound sends data to our ToughTouch device that each bin team carries. The ToughTouch is a robust touch-screen hand-held which provides the perfect method for communicating detailed information to a glove-wearing Mobile Workforce in this unpredictable environment.

Exception based reporting minimizes the drivers need to interact with the system. It allows you to report on:
Round distance, round duration, lifts-per-minute, average distance between lifts, fleet summary reports, multiple lift reports, non-present reporting, overweight reporting, contaminated / damage reporting, vehicle date/time/start of each round, average lift weight, total vehicle lift weight.

Pinpoints and alerts crews to required 'assists'
BinRound pinpoints and alerts the bin team whilst they are en route giving them the exact location where an assist is needed in real-time. This is especially important for people that have a disability or have had an accident, which prevents them from being able to put their bins out. Our software seamlessly supports the back office team to be able to change these on a weekly basis.

Notify additional lifts on route
Every organisation or council has different needs and our system can be tailored. For instance some areas have to request and pay extra for brown bin collection. BinRound can mark where additional bins need to be collected on the route and communicate this to the bin team.
